Bonded Polyester Thread
Polyester Bonded Thread (often simply referred to as “Bonded Thread”) is a high-strength sewing thread made from polyester and processed through special techniques. Due to its characteristics such as smooth surface, high strength, and excellent wear resistance, it is widely used in fields including industrial sewing, outdoor gear, and leather products.
Based on polyester filaments as the base material, it undergoes “bonded treatment”—a special coating or dipping process applied to the surface of the polyester thread (typically a resin coating), which forms a smooth and tough film on the thread surface. This process not only enhances the thread’s wear resistance but also reduces the frictional resistance of the thread during sewing, lowering the probability of thread breakage.
